This is Part 2 of my pictures from my 2017 road trip to the northern part of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Here, I visited the village of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , at the end of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! which is one of the best drives in the whole of BC.

Other people associated with the area read like a who’s-who of local place names, such as !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Back to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , then up the Northern !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . On the way, I did a quick stop at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , which involved over 1000 tonnes of explosives... that means it is one of the largest man-made non-nuclear explosions ever, and is an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

This reminds me: If I was independently wealthy with effectively unlimited time on my hands, I’d be wandering around on a sailboat hitting all the funky little towns up and down the west coast of North America. BC’s coast could probably keep me entertained for years.
I have always wanted to drive some of the roads into the middle of the island, too, but between the expensive ferry rides and usually trying to pack the trips into a long weekend or less, I never get out there. Elk Falls is the furthest north I ever seem to go and I don’t think I’ve been more than 10-20 km from highway 1 or 19...
